October Windowbox Update

IMG_7870

This is what was planted in the window boxes in August. It looked rubbish a month ago and I had planned to replace them soon after with, as usual, heather and flower cabbage for the autumn/winter season. But looking at these flowers now, I really don't have a heart to do that... I think I'll let them flourish for as long as they like and can, hopefully the frost won't embrace them too soon.

Yes Pia, leave the happy, little daisy faces enjoy the autumn sun. I think it does look nice and friendly suits your lovely red house. There is still a little yellow and red from Salvias? which round up nicely your little summer garden.

Oh, I love your flowerbox. Yes, let them be and see how long they last. Maybe they'll surprise you.

Thanks, afos, just my thought, crisp and simple indeed.

Titania, it's some sort of dahlias with the daisies, they looked ugly for the longest time but now they show off in both red, yellow and orange, really pretty:)

Thanks, webradio.

Thanks, Paz, as long as the weather will continue as it is right now I think they'll live a rather long and decently happy life there in those boxes.
