lacy pearly wrist warmers

IMG_4852

Today was the first day I really felt that yes most certainly Autumn is here, such a chill in the air in the afternoon. So to look at it from the positive side, at least now is the time to finally inaugurate some neat autumnal things that one has either made oneself or bought on, most probably, Etsy.

Now is the time for wearing these grey-pink crocheted beauties lacy wrist warmers. I found them by accident on in the hypericumfragile shop on Etsy and as they are quite irresistible I grabbed them immediately.

And what's even more amazing, they are even more beautiful in real life. The delicate, romantic work is just perfect - myself I just not have the patience for such uttermost perfection, I'm in awe of people who have that patience - the thin cotton yarn has a pearly lustre that is matched with the three tiny buttons that one fasts the wrist warmer/cuffs with. Oh I'm positive they'll make any autumn jacket or sweater outfit ooze that extra special adorableness.

And I can safely say that the packaging and wrapping in which the pretty pair arrived is quite possibly the so far loveliest I've received from an Etsy seller.

More of her talented work you'll find in the shop ~

Hi Pia
They are gorgeous in the extremes of gorgeousness! Lucky you - I bet you'll use them loads and I think you'll create lots of outfits around them.
I love that your clover flowers match the colour of the wrist warmers :-)
Happy days,

They're lovely, so delicate and feminine! I've not seen anything like that. Wool mittens, yes. Lacy wrist warmers, no. LOL.

Dear Pia,

Please stop directing me to wonderful Etsy sites where I end up buying beautiful things that I really don't need but simply must have.

Many thanks,
Wendy

Your photos are excellent - my cuffs look on them better than in real life (I probably shouldn't have said that... but you got me completely surprised with this blog post). Best wishes!
