third advent sunday tea giveaway

009

On this third advent Sunday the time has come to have another tea giveaway, this time a slightly more seasonal one as one of the teas is the lovely Christmassy gingerbread tea I was most fortunate to make the aquaintance with a year ago.

The other tea is a special Stockholm tea blend - equally lovely in flavour, but more of an all the year round tea - made by the Tea Centre of Stockholm since 1979, called Söderblandning (South blend, the name deriving from one of the districts in Stockholm, where the Tea Centre also is situated). It smells heavenly and is flavoured with tropical fruits and flowers.

One winner will get the gingerbread tea, the other the Söderblandning tea.

All you have to do to take part in the giveaway is to leave a comment telling me what your favourite beverage this time of the year is (and if you happen to have a favourite winter tea, please do tell too). Last day of entry will be December 23 - winners will be announced shortly thereafter and I'm planning to have the respective teas on their way soon so they should be arriving as a little, warm welcome to the new year 2012.

As usual the little tykes called bobbaloos have communicated that they think 'the more the merrier' is a dandy and fun thing, they want lots of name tickets to carefully chose two winners from.

Ooh pepparkaka tea, how lovely. At the moment my favourite drink is freshly squeezed orange juice topped up with sparkling water, lots of vitamin C and very refreshing.

I'd hate to see you paying the postage all the way to Canada, but I'll share my favourite seasonal beverage anyway: Bailey's Irish Cream on ice.

Now, Bailey's is a year-round treat, but before Christmas I always make my own from a recipe I found years ago, so it's a lot more affordable and I can indulge more freely in the holiday "spirits."

For New Year's, I have a different favourite: a blended liqueur called B&B. You probably can get it in Sweden; it's brandy and benedictine.

I will give it a try, your description of those two teas sounds fantastic.
My favorite beverage in winter is, of course, tea! : ) Usually I mix dried blossoms or/and leaves of echinacea, elder, lime, wild thyme, mint and ysop. I also like a cup of Vanilla black tea with milk and honey (but only in the morning, otherwise I don't sleep at night).

Ohh,

it has to be hot coco, topped up with some baileys and marshmellows. :D

That gingerbread tea sounds amazing!

Ah how lovely another tea giveaway, how can I resist. This time of year, I do drink a lot of hot chocolate and if its not hot chocolate, honestly it tends to be ginger based as it soothes the throat on these wintry days and keeps the cold away x If there is no ginger, then its echinacea tea.

Hope your keeping well x

Right now, because of a posting of Lost Star's, I've been drinking hot cocoa made with Nutella. Very yummy evening drink. During the day it has been basic hot tea.

My favourite Christmassy winter drink is mulled wine--love all the spices! As for tea, I love chai, again, it's the spices!

One of my favourite beverage in winter is tea, of course. Sencha green tea or old plain Darjeeling black tea. No sugar and no milk :)
