My promise not to eat any more bought semlor after the first one in January has worked pretty well until this last week when several have been consumed (most of them really very good).
But today, on Fat Tuesday - when it's estimated that Swedes will eat around 5 millions semlor - I've finally baked and made my own from scratch. Like last year.
From buns to the best ever almond paste. And the turned out not too shabby. Not too shabby at all.
