Åkeshov castle, (conference facilities) imagine once there was winter...
Ulvsunda castle, (conference facilities)
Johannesberg castle, (conference facilities)
Wik castle, (folk school and conference facilities)
Årsta castle, (golf course, restaurant and conference facilities)
Hörningsholm castle, private home
So, technically this isn't a castle, not even a glimpse of one, just a bit of the garden. Engsholm castle can be seen by invitation and business only and for some odd reason we didn't have one that day. But it looks absolutely adorable at their website, don't you think?
Tullgarn castle, royal summer castle
Södertuna castle, (conference facilities)
Näsby castle, (conference facilities)
Ekebyhov castle, (owned by Ekerö county, available for private functions) yes, touch wood...!
Edsberg castle, (owned by Sollentuna county, available for private functions)
.
So, do you have a favourite? Or if not any of these, which castle is your favourite one ever? Some of my favourites are mentioned here...
Fantastic pikturs ~ all those castles look so magnificent but we fink we like Södertuna castle the most..
ReplyDeleteSnowForest's human here: I'd like to thank you for your kind words of support after the recent loss of our dear cat Forest..we greatly value your kindness..thanks!
ReplyDeleteI like Wik Castle. It has a haunted look about it. I can see Rapunzel on vacation as the castle has these lovely turrets. On a more serious note, all the castles are beautiful, great photos. I always think it is not easy to get castles or houses to look the part on pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by SnowForest and Human, and many thanks for your sweet words of appreciation!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Titania, Wik castle is pretty special, it do look haunted and very fairytalish, the atmosphere there quite match the impression you get from the pictures too... Thanks for your kind words on the photos!
