WCB - The Cat In the Window

IMG_1739

If you're on a little outing to adorable smalltown of Sigtuna, you might be lucky enough to spot this furry one in the window of an antique shop on main street. Yes it's alive and completely at ease having found the perfect place for a leisurely nap. Ah, cats are such inspirational and lovable enjoyers of life, always completely present in the here and now...

  1. Missed that one (not the town but the cat!), possibly due to the fact that my recent visit in this very street occurred late in the evening. One of those summer night strolls, you know.

  4. Oh, how cute is that?

My BSH is often to be found in that pose... albeit not in a window of an antique shop!

  5. Meow, since I am a cat, I don't travel far from my home, let alone across an ocean. But if I did travel, I would stop into the small town to say Meow to such a cute kitty cat in the window.

  6. Per, well perhaps he (?) was out on a nightly neighbourly stroll himself then...:)

John and Titania, thanks, oh yes I did get your comments but being away and having the comment moderation in charge it just took a wee bit of time until I could make them appear...;)

aforkful, yes it is such a lovable pose indeed, especially on a bit of rotund bsh I'd say...:)

Well said, kitikata-san, thanks for stopping by:)

Hi there! I actually live in Sigtuna, and that cat is some sort of a celebrity overhere. The cat is visiting the stores, in walks down the main street and so on, but it actually lives in the antique store, and it's so cute!

  8. Oh, that sounds lovely, and very befitting for the charming town of Sigtuna, Johan! This was the first time I saw it though, hope I'll spot it again when out and about there:)

A bit like the celebrity (bookstore)cat of Norrtälje then
