This facade ornament in the shape of a Zodiac clock (from 1950 by the artist Endre Nemes) can be found in the southern Stockholm suburb of Västertorp. Perhaps not the prettiest of suburbs but rich in public adornment of the varied kind. More of that in another post, for now, have a good Monday, hope you're able to make the most of your day, time is known to be ticking...
Yes you are so right; it tic tocs with no pause. The clock looks great. Have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteMy recollection of art in Västertorp is that there's an interesting gang sitting outside the entrance to the local swimming complex.
ReplyDeleteC'est très joli, dis donc !
ReplyDeleteThe ticktocking of the clock is both an incentive as well as a stress factor I think, Titania, however this huge clock is one pretty stress factor at least.
ReplyDeleteI know that one too, Per, however didn't get a photo-opt of it that time around. A return to Västertorp is sort of probable.
Thanks, webradio!
