Castle Spotting - Urquhart at Loch Ness

IMG_4228

Urquhart castle may not be much of a beautiful and atmospheric castle anymore, more of a large pile of stones with some walls, but its location is gorgeously scenic. And it has a very appealing, quirky delightful name. And if you are so. very. lucky. being at this place at the right time I guess you might be able to do a bit of Loch Ness *monster* spotting...

  4. Thanks, Becky! Yes imagination stirring these stories are, we have something similar in Sweden. Up north there's a lake called Storsjön (Big Lake) and there roams the Storsjöodjuret (Big Lake monster... or so they say.

    I hear you enthusiasm, 2 x 2, Prixie;)
