The Gmail Grump Continues

Oh yes, the Gmail grump continues (I'm sure the club of interest is taking notes here), I've tried to report it to *whomevercanhelp* but so far it seems to no avail. If anyone out there has experienced the same problem (and no it isn't anything wrong with my browser setting), it would be nice to know... All in the spirit of shared problem is, at least, slightly diminished problem, this is my problem; since yesterday afternoon Jan 11 the Gmail page opens but immediately get stuck on "loading" ("laddar" in Swedish) hence making it impossible in the most annoying and paralyzing way to both read, reply to and write emails. And since I don't have the same contact list at my other email accounts I can't even chose to write a swift reply etc from there either.

It really shows you should never ever take things for granted, I thought I had found *the perfect email home*, but it's very obvious no such place exists (no matter if it's a free or not service). You always need to have a backup plan. In life as in email accounts. *Gosh, now wouldn't it be groovy if I could get paid for flinging out such wise words at a whim*

And just so this won't be just another completely grumpy old woman post I'll direct all lovers of sweet animal photography to the fabulous photo stream of Seattle Roll at Flickr. I happened to stumble over her most amazing and adorable hamster pictures a while back, oh my, you really, really won't regret having a peek there...

  3. Dear Pia K,
I have a gmail account but I don't know how to use it for email.
I guess I will have to get Betty to help me, but if you have that much trouble, maybe I will just keep my main email address.

I am just now catching up to you. I am laying comfortably on the couch with my lap top and it is a lot better than sitting at the computer.
My legs seem to be getting worse.
I am going to the specialist in Hamilton this Monday for my myotonis and hopefully he will be able to do something for me.
But as long as I can type at this lap top, I will be hqppy!
    Love Terry

  4. Well, Terry, I have had troubles with every email account I've ever had, sooner or later something acts up, free accounts or not, spams, viruses, shut downs, hickups, at home, at work, that's unfortunately a part of everything convenient with emails. Sometime you just have to grump a bit about it:) It's working again now, as usual, after some days of having to use an older version that wasn't quite as speedy. But if you're happy with your usual main email account, no ned exploring gmail;)

Sorry to hear about your myotonus, I hope you'll find good help at the specialist tomorrow!
