...there's really no denying that we're living in a gorgeous, enchanting, picture postcard winter wonderland on these latitudes, don't you agree? And if one finds oneself at crossroads in these neighbourhoods, one just might be lucky enough to meet...
... a real, happy in red crossbreed ("vägkorsning") that will get life back on track. And then, after having experienced the appropriately seasonal Swedish outdoor adventures there's nothing that quite beat the fact that you do live in a warm and cosy house...
... where there's a new sofa cover with red rosebuds, which makes the perfect place for a snuggly snooze oblivion to the cold, harsh, white outside world.
That dessert looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteAnd I want to snuggle on the couch as well... so glad I don't live in snow but your photos are great :)
That desert looks great, and ice cream is fine for sweets, even in the cold winter.
ReplyDeleteThe red house with the drifting snow cover looks fine, the pure white snow looks so clean, and the air is always fresh.
Knut is doing what cats do best, in any season!
The house looks so warm and cozy - the perfect place to be on a wintery, snowy day!

Those fresh raspberries look amazingly delicious!

Lovely Ruby Tuesday shots. So cute that cat. So delicious-looking, the ice cream and berries.
ReplyDeletePaz
I luv the ice-cream! Kitty is shy to see us? ;p
ReplyDeletePia, a wonderful collections of reds. Can I save the dessert for later?
ReplyDeleteHello, Pia,
ReplyDeleteI sure would like some Groundhog dessert! Ice cream and whipped cream together are perfect.
The winterwonderland is just the place to be in early February.
Like a fantasy world.
We have sun from 9 in the morning till half past five in the afternoon. Winter is not so bad, when one only got some warm clothes, and beautiful Knut to come home to.
Liked your sofa spread too.
Rosebuds must be very much you.
From Felisol
Now I'm graving for Vanilla ice cream :D
ReplyDeleteThat house looks so cozy, despite the snow!
And dog and kitty are just cute :D
Lovely shots & happy Ruby Tuesday :)
The dessert looks so awesome. I got something like it a few weeks ago, but with the addition of crumbled meringues.
ReplyDeleteI take all the options. This beautiful Red house covered and surrounded by snow is so pleasant to watch. But I would rather prefer to stay inside, like your cat instead of staying outside with the red crossbreed. I thought first it was a fox. I would choose just raspberries and whipped cream. Ice is so cold, but your dessert looks so sweet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful house, all tucked away in the snow like that.
ReplyDeleteAs for the dessert, I'm trying hard to see only those gorgeous red rasberries - I'm on a diet!
The dessert looks wonderful and I really like the photograph of the red buildings in the snow.
ReplyDeleteMy RT image is posted here. Please stop by if you get a chance.
Something went awry with my last comment. I hope it went through!
ReplyDeletea real homey, cozy collection of photos
ReplyDeleteI got stuck on your ice cream and raspberries. Yum and lovely.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Kay, well sometimes life is as simple and great as that, an amazing plus easy dessert and a new sofa cover:)
ReplyDeleteRalph - thanks for coming by with a thoughful comment as always. I'm glad you remember Knut, but actually, this is his older halfsister Eulalia (11 this summer)... :)
Indeed it is, Tink, thanks for visiting.

Dora - I should say that kitty is too tired to say hello..;)
ReplyDeleteFine by me, Jan, save the dessert for later...:)
Sweet comment as always, Felisol, how did you know that rosebuds are very me, I like that:)
Thanks, Nicole, hope you treated yourself to some icecream!
Thanks for visiting, Anne, I guess meringue on top can be nice too, although I like those crumbles chewy...:)
Catherine - I know, it does look kind of like a fox and not a dog, but the text says different and then there's the thing with so called "roundabout dogs" which have been a topic in Sweden these past few years, people putting different types of artsy dogs at roundabouts all over the country. Glad you liked the pics:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting, Robin, oh I guess you have to save the cream and icecream for later then:)
Pleased you enjoyed your visit, Becky!
Oh, too bad, Pagan Sphinx, nope this was the only comment from you I got...:/ Feel free to try again:)
