Life is full of treats, as I was getting ready the other day to plant the thoroughly inspected purple, and yellow, pansies a lovely package arrived from overseas.
Since pansies, especially purple-violet, is one dear sign of spring to me I did adore these sweet earrings ones at first sight. And as they screamed with their wee ceramic voices, to Sweden we want to move!, who could resist?
Accompanied by an equally adorable pair of flowery hairpins - which also of course insisted on a move to these latitudes, so what can a poor woman with a soft spot for flowers and beutiful handmade things do... - the foursome truly made my snivelling, coughing day of sore throat cold. Oh soon they will get to see more of Stockholm, Sweden, Europe than a glimpse of my garden and bathroom, Easter inauguration to come ~

So pretty, lucky girl. Normally I visit etsy sites and see one or two things I might like. Honestly, while browsing I find it hard to choose which piece I must have. So many beautiful things....I think it's time for a 'me' present.
ReplyDeleteHi Pia,
ReplyDeleteI have checked out their site, and spotted a necklace I like. They will make you feel like spring has arrived, having flowers in your hair and on your ears.
Have a nice Easter weekend, we hope you get some time to relax and eat some tasty treats.
LOVE your photos Pia! So incredible to see my little treasures made the journey from my home to yours! Please come back for more goodies. Convo me if you see something you like. I would be happy to send your next picks for free! : ) Hope your pansies are thriving!!!
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Liz (so not stepford!) ;)
Thanks, Heather, yes I am lucky to get my hands on these bauties indeed. Hrm, yes I know, Etsy is *kind of* addictive, and funny enough it's most always the right time for a "me" gift since they come in prices for all purses. You should treat yourself to something nice!
ReplyDeleteI hope you treated yourself to the necklace, Poppy, somehow I'm sure you'll be very pleased with it...:)
Gosh, that's so very sweet of you, Liz-not-Stepford, who can resist such an offer! And glad you enjoyed the picks! The pansies are indeed thriving and the pins have even been on holiday, they basked proudly in the sun:)
