When I woke up this morning the ground
was once again
covered in snow. A few hours later the wind came blowing and then the snow began to fall slowly, gracefully, prettily. More and more snow came, it became slush and now I fear tomorrow might bring the nastiness of ice (my hands down least favourite winter feature).
But for today, a few hours my world was simple, white, clean pretty in snow. Add the loaf to picture.
At least the loaf seems to be enjoying the white stuff! Love the snow on his face, such a wonderful photo. :-)
ReplyDeletePoor we loaf! We are forecast for snow this weeeknd too Pia. At least it makes for some beautiful photos even if it is a bit cold on the paws. Haven;'t spoken for a while. How are you?
ReplyDeleteReally cute! I have a feeling that animals have the same mixed feelings we do about the snow...it's beautiful, it's fun, but it can be such a mess to drive in, shovel out and then there's the ice to contend with too.
ReplyDeleteSmile today. :)
"The loaf" is quite possibly one of the cutest dogs I've seen. I love the photos you take. :)

p.s- found your blog through Anne's Food blog. I promise I'm not a stalker!
Oh I totally agree with you. There is a brief time when the snow first falls when all is pristine, pretty whiteness and magical. Then it becomes tricky to get around and slush turns to ice, etc etc.
ReplyDeleteI really cannot do icy surfaces - no way whatsoever - I just won't go any place if it's icy outside. But I am extremely fortunate that I don't have to go out to work.
I hope you have a good layering of blankets and quilts to stay cosy and that there's plenty of soups, stews and hot chocolates to keep you snug on the inside too.
