when having a heatwave

039

Will not complain about the heat, will not, will not, will.not. - even if the garden, nature, animals, everyone would benefit from some rain and water to come - in some months it will look like this

and then one can't really remember why it felt necessary to make a weather grump about the heat. All one feel then is the lack of summer, warmth, butterflies and bliss times like this.

So enjoying the warmth, drinking plenty of fluids and remembering that winter with all its snow alas will be here all too soon...

  1. That's a great point. In the Summer I always wish it was cooler, and in the Winter I always want more heat!

  2. I was just thinking that here in my area it seems that we have comfortable temps for only 2 or 3 months a year -- the rest of the time is either too cold or too hot. LOL.

  3. Mid-winter heatwave here: 29*C! Very unseasonal. :/

  4. Ah - it's good to hear that residents from other countries in the often chilly Northern Hemisphere complain about the heat too. I have to express a preference for cooler days although love the long periods of light that summer brings.

  5. I'm a fan of winter. Which is rapidly drawing to a close here. Sigh. And some rain would be nice.

  8. We're vacationing in Florida, with humidity at 90% and the temperature at 100F/37C! Thank heavens our house is on the beach, so there is a breeze, and the Gulf of Mexico to jump in and (sort of) cool off! Although the water temp is literally as warm as bath water, so I'm not sure it helps all that much! Keep those Bobaloos out of the sun! :)
