I have many soft spots, one is for quirky adorable sculptures preferably situated in non obvious places. Little Elephant Dreaming can be found in Stockholm city, do you know where?
These are wonderful sculptures and unexpected. I have a baby elephant salt glaced, in my garden, I love it and is not expected when he peeps out from behind a big tree where he is dreaming his days away. Elephants are supposed to bring you luck if you touch them!
That little elephant of yours sounds very sweet, Titania. I didn't know they're suppose to bring you good luck, but I'll be sure to remember that from now on.
These sculptures were in fact pink when they were inaugurated in the late 70ies, perhaps inspired by a popular Swedish children´s TV-show back then, strangely enough I didn't know about them until some months ago. It's pretty amazing that you'll never ever know every inch of your own city and new, sweet discoveries are always just around the corner.
