During the blizzard the other week we found this poor guy clinging to a lamppost for dear life. Quite obviously the Fox Rescue Squad had to make a daring intervention. In a blog post near you will now follow the story in pictures about the poor fox and what happened to him post-rescue. Be warned, from heartbreaking to heartwarming, keep a tissue box close at hand ~
Help, he's soaking wet and cold but still has a pulse.
Straight from the blizzard into rescue car, hurry, hurry.
Almost home, hold on.
In warm bubble bath (vanilla-milk-honey) - is that a face of a grateful fox or what.Sorry, this may look uncomfortable, but it's really the only way to get one saved and soaked fox completely dry, hanging by the ears in front of the heat pump. Beats blizzard and clinging to lampposts any day.
All is well that ends well, all smiles, sweet scented fox snuggles with new found friend froggie as they share a peaceful, warm haven above the corner cupboard at the Fox Rescue Squad headquarter.
A really heart warming happy end. I am glad the poor fox found a loving family and friends.

Awww, you just made my night!
ReplyDeleteOh what a cutie pie Pia K!
ReplyDeleteYou know although I love our Queen Elizabeth, it distresses me so much that she is part of a gang of royals that goes fox hunting.
There ought to be a law against it..
Oh the utter cruelty of it Pia K!
Love Terry
Glad to be of service, Wendy:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Terry:) Oh yes, hunting (foxes or otherwise) is a true abomination and shows such little care and respect for other beings. It breaks my heart.
