the teddy bear sanctuary

IMG_8554

Latest news is that the fox rescue squad has extended its operations to include teddy bears - any shape and form. First one to be rescued and taken to safety and a roof over his head was Teddy. He suffered from a serious case of sunken navel, poor thing just skin and bones in matted fur. He was found not very far from where sad snowy fox was rescued, all he could muster was a feeble wave of "help me".

Help he got and a warm bubble bath - rhubarb and dog rose - once again, a grateful face.

Then came the not so pleasant bit, a couple of nights of hanging to dry in the garden. It will get better. Promise. A bit of fattening up is surely needed...

Dried he was introduced to his friend Mickel and Froggy, they hit off instantly. First day of good weather, time for a well deserved outing for the threesome, green grass and flowers. After a bit of inspecting by non invited guests - why do they always hang around? - it was time to just sit back, relax and enjoy life at the sanctuary for lost, discarded, found and rescued stuffed animals. Life can be good, once again ~

Tack, Helena! Tja, börjar åtminstone känna mig lite bättre efter en lång, jobbig månad... Hoppas Aten är bra - själv är jag kluven, men mer om det i en blogg nära i närheten, snart...:)
