I don't care the least bit about such a commercial day like valentine's, but I think this heartshaped flower arrangement I saw yesterday at the afterrnoon tea was really lovely. In a whimsical, creative, romantic way. And very inspirational for those who have the room for it. In a home with zero feline snoopervisors of course.

hearty nails
As usual I don't do commercial days like Valentine's, Father's and Mother's Day etc etc and so forth. They're simply tiresome galore to me. Thus these nails have nothing to do with it being February 14th today - no sweet treats at all, but I have a lovely, heart recipe from last year - , pure coincidence that the nailpolish chipped - Seche Vite top coat, pretty crappy if you ask me, after one time use only but still, with all the hullabaloo from near and far, I am very less than impressed... - and I felt it was a good time to try some hearts out. (Granted it's always a good time to try some hearts out really.)
My first time with making nailart dots wasn't a happy time, but for a first time go at hearts on nails I think this looks okey. Lots of room for improvement for sure, but okey. At least left hand nails, right hand nails' hearts are just hilariously bad. I'm sure it's easier to be artsy with someone else's nails, but even so, I don't think my talents will ever comprise nailart. And that's alright. I'm in awe of people who master it, such a delicate and fun kind of art.

little hearts
My week of the colour red continues. Yesterday it was a fabulous pair of red boots. Today we have bobbaloos and tea. Two of life's greatest things. Not all bobbaloos are red, obviously, but they are all in possession of little, dear and colourful hearts.
The tea though, is filled with little red hearts and is called just that Lilla Hjärtat (Little Heart). Just like the fine teas Papaya Babaco and Citrusmumma, Gingerbread and Tomtesnurr this organic tea comes from Swedish coffee and tea merchants Johan & Nyström. Adorable to look at and flavoured with passionfruit, blueberries, kumquat, rosebuds and marigold - it makes for a lovely cup of tea. Heart.
I've finished a few tins and bags recently,
so I'm all ears to know of new pleasing flavour to try.

on valentine's day
As mention the other day, I'm rather the antivalentinist, but there might, there just might be inauguration of this heart iron tonight, there may be small heart shaped pancakes for dinner. Plättar (plur., plätt sing.) in Swedish. Since the heart shape I adore, any time of the year, just not particularly for this day, February 14th.
And since today is also the day of what hopefully will be the first step towards a future I want, celebration should be called for, it really should (no, not any comfort-food-thinking after a day of barely surviving here, oh no). Heart shaped pancakes it is. Make love for dinner. With whipped cream and raspberry jam on top. Only food on a plate of course. Nothing more, nothing less.
Have a lovely day,
have a grand week,
however you chose to spend it ~
