Two Birds & A Button Mushroom
Just a little sweet something I will put in Easter eggs next week - ok so one or possibly two will be a keeper for undersigned... - felted brooches from Smeeta on Etsy. It was tough choosing from all her lovely wee brooches (that often comes with a little background story), but in the end I went for these three it being spring, lots of chirpy birds around and well, a button mushroom is of course always THE thing to adorn a jacket, coat, bag and so forth. Cute as a button they all are though.

At the Haymarket
Sweet and fine - the fruit that is, or so the sign claims.
Not being a huge fan of Stockholm's own Haymarket (Hötorget) square - I find the in general yelling, obtrusive market stall holders *rather* annoying and as they quite obviously sell very less than all the fruit, vegetables and flowers on display, what happens to the rest...? - but I
Tulips plethora.
Where do you prefer to shop for vegetables, fruits and flowers?

Muffins Almost in Grass
First occasion of tea on very own private terrace this season called for appropriate accessories. Hence one blueberry, one lemon muffin from Bloom's. Blueberry one average, lemon one rather delightful with some gooey lemony surprise hidden inside. And no, I didn't munch them down all by myself. Really.

Plaid Pleated Bargain
Happened to be looking for a good all-round-work-well-with-jackets-non-summery-skirt, found one tucked away at the NoaNoa outlet - the amazing winter coat a couple of winters ago was from the same place of nice findings - and it happened to fit reasonably well. Being of a slightly tulip-shape thus very roomy it's great for not only ordinary days but also balloon tummy ones. Dark pink cotton plaid - does it get any better?
Cute and well made details - look at that little lace hidden inside the waistline, isn't that adorable?
The skirt in all its plaid glory. For a whopping price of... 100 sek ~ 12 $ it moved in with me. Gotta love Danish design and a well pleated bargain.

Spring Sprucing Siri
Finally, one can enjoy a bit of sun on outdoor table, as long as one wear dotted fur in style. Better spruce up.
Update - today we enjoyed sun and surprising temperatures around +10 C here in Stockholm, gosh is it difficult to dress spring appropriate for temperatures like that on short notice... Natural dotty furs never have to deal with such problems.
On the Train to Somewhere
A train ticket at a more than reasonable price, window seat and sun, free latte from favourite coffee chain, a good book and some music, somewhere nice to go. Train leaves on time (!) and arrives a tad early. Life is good.

Eating Out - Café Landkrabban, Norrtälje
At the day of Stina Smitten's 1 year gotchaversary we found ourselves in the vicinity of Café Landkrabban (Landlubber), Norrtälje town and thought it would be befitting to have a celebratory lunch there. Stina did get a chair of her own, but being a handbag and having to mind her looks, did only get to feast her eyes on the food.
We humans however enjoyed the food immensly and I must say that I'm most always quite pleased than not with the food, drink and service at this tiny café, be it summer or winter. Definitely my favourite place for unpretentious, light food served by nice staff when in that heck of the Swedish woods, as opposed to other more hyped places nearby...
Delicious feta cheese ciabatta sandwich
Ginormous serves two for dessert lovely, moist carrot cake
Lovely, simple fetacheese quinoa salad with an amazing herb dressing
Rather nice lemon cake
As tea should be served in big cups, thumbs up for that far from unimportant detail

Spring Lovely in Organza
Some delicately sweet hairpieces, brooches and other delectables in organza and satin can be found a Sew Lovely. One easy cute, well made and affordable way to spruce up winter droopy hair, a worn coat, old dress and yourself in awaiting some sunbeams to do the job on tired, pale beyond recognition winter skin. Ah, de lovely ~
The Park Theatre
Parkteatern (The Park theatre) is a reoccuring summer theatre event i Stockholm since 1942. Every summer, usually June-August, different theatrical events, for all ages, are set up and played on outdoor stages in about 15 different parks all over the city. Well visited and much appreciated, and as it is outdoors and summer many people chose to bring picnic along and watch the plays.
If you paint a bench or chair in a bright, fun colour and take it with you to the events you even get free entrance. Which of course is kind of neat.
