Could not resist getting a violet, as in the colour purple, nailpolish the other day. And everywhere I look there seem to be purple, lilac, violet flowers - is this an ominous sign? Or can there be beauty, fortune and happiness in purple too?

Stockholmian by birth and choice with soft spot for anything beautiful. Hence home never left without camera. Creative writer, vegetarian lawyer, web editor, jewellery making tea drinker, crocheting crafter, knitting thinker, avid reader in middle of life, pondering, analyzing, looking for, still searching. Thoroughly enjoying company of cats thus residence is shared with a bunch of them (incl small-scale breeding of gorgeous, plush British Shorthairs). Add one loaf doggie extraordinaire (Norfolk terrier) who thinks life completely revolves around him. Love to travel whenever an opportunity comes along - and then some. Most often live by the fact that any kind of idiot can live in order, only a true genius master chaos! Always keep in mind the apt and wonderful quote by Gandhi ~ The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way in which its animals are treated ~ remember that the path to moral progress begins with each and everyone of us as individuals. ~~~ Here in blog I sort out my thoughts, ideas and opinions - which may not agree with everyone's - as well as share bits and pieces of this life and world.

Ohhh Pia I like the violet flowers. Thanks for the reminder of sunny days. Grey and cold here today, so it is nice to see the sun is shining somewhere else in the world.
