Monday Morning Snow Medley

IMG_0262

Someone loaf shaped is very happy about the current weather status. After a night of heavy winds and snowstorm in these eastern parts of Sweden this is what we woke up to.

No Mr Hedgehog visiting, hibernation time
I would be thrilled too, if I didn't feel like cold crap, right now I just hope this proper winter will hold until I feel less crap. However I do feel slightly better when I see one loaf doggie being ecstatic about everything white and fluffy though. Hopefully, touch wood, there will be time for at least one long walk in snowy woods before this week is over...

Thanks, Kay, I think it looks lovely and I don't mind the cold as long as there's snow like this. Cold without snow though, nah...

Yeah, that little protruding licquorice thing is kind of adorable, tr3nta:)
Oh I wish we had some beaches and sand nearby, I'd love to see him run around there. Even if the woods aren't half bad from his point of view either.

Big lick from Marco too.

While my garden grows into a "dschungel" yours is winter white and looks beautiful. Adorable Malte has he had his first snowball fight?

Thanks, Wendy and, of course, Marco:)

Oh I wouldn't mind a green jungle, Titania, but I can settle with this white prettiness, for now. Nope, no snowball fights yet...:)

Pia: Here in the city the fallen snow only looks beautiful for the first day, then it quickly turns dirty and black and mushy and it is hard to get around in the snow. Also, I have a hard time walking my dogs when it snows because they put salt on the snow to melt it and the salt burns the paws of my dogs. It's like walking through a minefield. We have to be careful where we step. The entire snow ordeal is a pain, I tell you. :-(

I know, Paz, it's the similar problem with snow living in the city here, previous years there have alos been some fatal accidents with icicles falling etc. Although I think they don't use salt on the streets here anymore, it's been replaced by something more "friendly".
