the day took a very very unexpected turn - the doctor was *a bit stressed* about some of my test results plus rising and unexpectedly high blood pressure. she thought it was hormones acting up, but sent me immediately to the hospital. where they're also concerned thus i'm here over night for more tests and examinations.
i'm dumbstrucked, and basically feel 'like i have been for the past six months'. possibly a bit perkier actually. but of course it's good to be taken seriously. and they have so far been lovely, the staff.
my bed us in a geriatric unit, so well, my room-mates are a bit... special. and apparently snoring. ah well, not much to do about it. and the carrot steaks i got for dinner were actually really nice. and i got a bed with a view.
alas no shoes in blog today. bummer.

Oh no! I've been out of touch for a while, though I usually keep up (lurk) via my Fuzzy Tales account.
Sending positive healing vibes that you'll be fine and out tomorrow; I'll have the "boys" send their purrs.
At least your food looks better than ours....They stopped cooking food in the two local hospitals some years back; it all gets trucked in from a city two hours away, every day. I've not had to eat it, knock on wood, but I hear via the grapevine it's pretty awful.
(((Hugs)))
I really, really hope that they finally find what is that has been besetting you for so long. Lovely to be taken seriously though.
Just now catching up on blogs and was so sorry to hear you were in the hospital. I really hope someone gets your health issues figured out soon. Your view was lovely...looked like a nice place for a summer stroll. Also, your nails looked fabulous. :)
