I will, if everything go as planned, be celebrating mine with a well-deserved (not in the picture above) Stockholm super semla. And I hope everyone semla inclined will get a good such one too.

That's really interesting, Pia - I love to find out about food in tradition around the world. We are friends with a half-Swedish family here in France and enjoyed the Santa Lucia celebrations very much! I shall have to look out for semlor now...
i hope you had the opportunity to have a semla during fat tuesday, floss! well, anyday is fine really:) they're quite easy to bake yourself, if so inclined, myself i haven't tried that. yet.
