A bath, a green bone and a squeaker toy (poor pink baby dino in an egg). The first gift was only endured, not really appreciated (at least not by the birthday boy self). But then the fun begun. A garden treasure hunt. Behold the excitement shown by one eight years old loaf dog extraordinaire ~
The door has opened and out rushes one newly bathed loaf on a mission
Where, oh where can it be hiding...
I'm really close now, right?
Running, running
Aha, under the hosta there is a treasure for birthday loaf boys
If you have to chose between green bones and squeaker toys, the squeaker it is
Where to begin chewing
For a while loaf dog was only interested in Squeaking Dino - obviously a given future member of the Hip Hippo & the Funky Squeakers - but suddenly he remembered there was something edible hidden at the hosta too.
So a sweet scented bath, something squeaky loud, something green and edible to munch on, isn't that what we all want to make our birthdays perfect?
Birthday bliss is a fact

There's my favourite boy (well excluding Cooper). Give the birthday boy a hug from me :)

Happy birthday to Loaf Dog! With the exception of the bath (from his point of view and ours, as cats), it looked like a terrific birthday! Well, as long as he got lots of doggie treats too. :-P
Judging by that smile (gotta love it) Loaf Dog had a wonderful day. Which is as it should be.
We should all have Birthdays like that, and paint such a happy picture!
