Two things that make gloomy (inside out) days better is (in no particular order);
* the pitter patter of excited loaf dog paws. He comes bearing the precious gifts of carrots left in his bowl and insists the best place to eat them is while resting on human foot. Happily munching away.
* the cautious but firm and insisting kitty paw on your arm saying 'caress and cuddle, please'.
